Cape Cod Cooperative Extension is located at 3195 Main Street, Barnstable, MA.  The Extension office is in the basement of the Deeds and Probate building in the County complex. Our office is open Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30.

From Points North:

  • Route 3 South to Sagamore Bridge Rotary
  • Cross Canal/Bridge onto Route 6 (Mid-Cape Highway)
  • Travel East to Exit 6, Hyannis/Route 132
  • Bear Left on Exit Ramp
  • Turn Left onto Route 132, under the Mid-Cape Highway, through 1st set of Traffic Lights to T-Intersection at Route 6A
  • Turn Right onto Route 6A, heading East
  • Travel the historic highway toward Barnstable Village, approximately 2.5 miles
  • As you pass Sturgis Library on your left, and head down slight hill entering the Village, Railroad Avenue is on your Right
  • Turn Right onto Railroad Avenue and enter parking lot, using second drive on left
  • Deeds & Probate Building is the 3-floor brick building adjacent to parking lot – Cooperative Extension offices are on the first floor of the building, first door on left. Security guards will meet you and direct you.

From Points West:

  • Take Massachusetts Turnpike to 495
  • Route 495 East to the Bourne Bridge Rotary – go 3/4 way around the Rotary
  • Travel North along the Canal to the 1st set of traffic lights – turn right onto highway ramp
  • Travel East on Route 6 (Mid-Cape Highway)
  • Proceed as above

From Points East:

  • Travel West on Route 6 (Mid-Cape Highway) to Exit 7
  • Bear Right onto Willow Street towards Route 6A
  • Turn Left onto Route 6A, heading west, continuing straight through the traffic lights as you enter Barnstable Village
  • Continue approximately 1/8 mile on 6A; the Barnstable Comedy Club will be on your left; take an immediate left turn onto Railroad Avenue
  • Proceed as above
