Coastal Processes

Monitor and provide data analysis relating to seasonal and storm-induced changes to beaches and dune in several communities on Cape Cod and the region through on-going beach and dune profiling programs.

Provide outreach materials and seminars on a wide variety of topics to a diverse range of audiences.  Topics have included:  geologic and glacial history, barrier beach dynamics, coastal processes, erosion control, regulations, sea level rise, climate change, coastal adaptation, and information specific to individual sites.
