Mission
The Barnstable County 4-H and Youth Development Program is dedicated to providing a positive, hands on learning experience which builds character, develops life skills and enables youth to become self directing, productive members of society.

Current 4-H Clubs for Barnstable County

OTIS (Air Station Cape Cod) - Junior Chef's (Ages 9 and up)

This club offers kid's an experience with cooking, nutrition, and exercise.  Open to all military families.

OTIS (Air Station Cape Cod) - Otis 4-H Adventure Club

The Adventure Club offers a little bit of everything from arts and crafts to physical activity.  Open to all military families.

HORSE CLUBS

BOURNE - Bourne Equestrians (Ages 8 thru 16)

BOURNE - Equus Friends (Ages 10 and up)

W. BARNSTABLE - Saddle Up with 4-H (Ages 10 and up)

W. FALMOUTH - NEW CLUB STARTING (Ages 10 and up)

DENNIS - Horsin' Around with 4-H (Ages 10 and up)

For all horse enthusiasts, there are currently five horse clubs enrolled with 4-H.

BEE CLUB

FALMOUTH - Junior Beekeepers Club (Ages 5 thru 18)

Learn about bees while caring for active hives.

OUTDOOR CLUB

MASHPEE - Little Wanderers (Ages 6 thru 15)

For kids who like to explore the outdoors.  This club has a concentration in Nature, Science, Exploring and Arts and Crafts.

DOG CLUBS

OSTERVILLE - Muddy Paws (Ages 6 thru 18)

POCASSET - Cape Paws (Ages 6 thru 18)

Dogs, dogs, dogs.  These clubs as you can see are all about dogs.

FARM CLUBS

YARMOUTHPORT - Livestock Club at Taylor Bray Farm

EAST FALMOUTH - Coonamessett Farm (Ages 10 thru 15)

HOSPITALITY

ORLEANS - Hospitality Club at the Orleans Inn (Ages 13 and Up)

Learn how to properly set a table, learn about nutrition and how to prepare and serve up a meal.
