Barnstable County Named One of Nation's 100 Best Communites for Young People

Please join us on Tuesday, May 10 for the BCCCYF General Council meeting at the Community Action Committee of Cape and Islands, Bigos Community Room, 115 Enterprise Road, Hyannis from 3 to 4:30 pm.

We will hear from various organizations about summer opportunities for children, youth and families of Cape Cod & the Islands.  If you would like to present brief information about summer opportunities available with your organization, please send an email to bcccyf@gmail.com by Monday, May 9 at 10 am.  Printed material to distribute is always welcome and encouraged!

Nominations will be accepted for the 2011-2012 steering committee and the slate will be announced at Tuesday's meeting.  If you are interested in being a member of the steering committee or would like to nominate someone, please attend the meeting on Tuesday.  Elections will take place electronically via email and the new steering committee will be introduced at the general meeting on June 2.

The annual BCCCYF newsletter is currently in development and we are looking for articles of how the BCCCYF and your organization have worked together to benefit children, youth, and families on Cape Cod.  Articles should be sent to bcccyf@gmail.com no later than May 17, 2011.
